Reading NTFS not RED HAT

I was just curious, I have an NTFS partition I want to access... How do I do this. All I can find is Red Hat stuff. I am using Libranet 2.8. And is there a way to convert NTFS to ReiserFS... that would work too... since it is sooo dangerous to write to NTFS. Just curious. I know the members here are smart. THANKS in advance!

1) redhat instructions are the same as all thr others at that level.

2) no, it's very impossible.

Would it be easier for you to make a small FAT partition to act as a go between, NTFS <-> FAT <-> linux (ext2/ext3/ReiserFS) ?
