Reading mail from Exchange server

I need to set up something so I can read my work mail from a Microsoft Exchange 2003 server. Has anyone had any experience in trying to do this, and if so, what did you use?

I assume that I have to set up an IMAP server, but since I am a Newbie, I am unsure what program is best to use.

I'd recommend using Evolution. My email server is an Exchange server, and I just set up a pop3 account in Evolution and it works great.

Plus, if you get used to Evolution, you should be able to get your hands on Ximian Connector, which will allow your Evolution client to access all the scheduling and other functionality offered by a Microsoft Exchange server.
