re-run the configuration for xwindow

Hi, I just install Debian Sarge, and then use "apt-get" installed x-window-system and gnome. when I was installing x-window-system, I messed the end of the configuration (the monitor part like resolution...). Now I am in gnome, is there anyway that I can re-run the x-window configuration so I can choose the right options for my monitor? I had tried to configure it inside "XF86Config-4", but it seems not working...

Thanks in Advance!
