RE: Loading Linux OS image onto target PC


i'm totally new to Red Hat Linux and kernel. I've been asked to do this project to build the kernel and load the OS image onto the target PC. can someone guide me on how to get abt doing this?

It may just be my ignorance, but could you clarify the following:
Target PC = ?
[network/standalone] installation ?

Target PC = Standalone installation. It has a x86 series flash memory.

i'm trying to port the host OS image onto the target machine with a custom kernel.
