Railway Simulator

Is there a free railway simulator that can be installed on Linux Mint 17?

→ OpenBVE → http://www.ubuntumanual.org/openbve-...stall-and-play

Install : $ sudo apt-get install openbve
. http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=openbve

Sorry if this is a silly question but I am no computer expert, thanks.

← #3 .

? What happens when you use this command : $ /usr/games/openbve

? Is it "Mint 17 - 64bits" or "Mint 17 - 32bits", that you are using ?
This command will tell : $ uname -m

knudfl 09-18-2014 12:01 PM

I did a test with "openbve" on the similar Ubuntu 14.04 - 32bits (i686).

OpenBVE crashes → The message is : an error in either mono or some library.

Hopefully the issues will be solved by a "packages update", sooner or later.

That's also the "terminal output" that I get in Ubuntu 14.04 - 32bits.
