QuickUpload for Linux system photos

Photo services such as SnapFish, http://www.snapfish.com , use software called QuickUpload to upload photos in one step to online albums. Currently we have to upload in a more laborious photo by photo fashion because QuickUpload apparently only works on MS Windows or Mac. The ideal solution would be to arrange photos on your Linux computer with DigiKam (or equivalent) & then upload them to an online album in one step. The photo descriptions on your computer should be the default description uploaded to your online album like they are in Snapfish so you don't have to laboriously reenter them. Is there a QuickUpload solution for Linux & if so, where can we get it?
