quicktime video's within chrome browser

Hello all,

I've installed lubuntu on my netbook, I used my netbook primarily for college school work, I'm taking a college algebra class online that has embedded quicktime videos that i cannot live without, when i open these videos in chrome I get a missing plugin message. Any ideas ?
Very much appreciate any help

EDIT: I'd like to add that ive installed lubuntu restricted extras

The first thing you should do is look at what plugins Chrome reports as being installed. Next, you might want to try loading the videos and web pages using Firefox. And of course make doubly sure you really did install the restricted extras package.
