quick question -
I have a 20GB as my '/ ' (primary master) and anather 20gb i mount as '/backup' (primary slave).
I am going to disconnect both and try to install anather version on a 3rd 20 gb to see if I want to switch. If I want to, can I reconnect my '/backup' drive and mount it as '/backup' and then switch back to my original '/' without problems???? hope that makes sence... thanks in advance - tw |
I'm not sure if this is the same, but I have three drives on my PIII.
hda = Slackware 9.1 with appropriate partitions hdb = Suse 7.2 ditto on partitions hdd = /backup Both distros use hdd. I just put /dev/hdd /backup in each distro's /etc/fstab. /backup/slack gets the backups from Slackware, /backup/suse gets the Suse ones. |
