Quick partition question?

Ok I have 2 hardrives right now one has Mandriva 2006 the other is just a backup.I am downloading suse 10.0 and it won't be done for another hour or so. My question however is on my hardrive for mandriva I have { / - swap - Home} how should I partition the other hardrive with suse. Can I have 2 home directory's and 2 root directory's can I use the swap space on hardrive 1?

Let me clarify:

Each file tree can only have ONE home and root directory. If it's partitioned out, you can use the same home directory for each distro, or you can configure a new one for each file tree.
