quick blender q: How do I import meshes from other .blend?

I've searched everywhere to find how the hell I add meshes i've already made to my other projects (like I've made an eye and I'm making a beholder and I kinda need it).

I've imported materials and stuff succesfully enough, and have "added" the mesh, but I can't seem to be able to locate how I add a mesh to the 3d environment, to insert the eye.

Where is the command to do that?

tnx

Gasper
