questions about xfce?

i'm running slackware 10 and it came with xfce 4.0.5. I really like xfce, but i have a couple of simple questions about things that i'm having problems with:

1. how do you change the sceensaver? i looked through all of the system settings and i havent found anything on how to change the screensaver. currently it just displays a different screensaver everytime i lock the screen or whatever.

2. how do you deal with applications that dont have a window bar? say, for example, im running xmms and i want to sticky it or send it to another workspace... how do i do that? in kde i could right click it in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, but xfce doesnt have that functionality. anybody have a solution for this? maybe a way to have xfce let me right click the taskbar like i can in other desktop environments?

1) The screen saver is managed by X, so you'll find the configuration in /etc/X11 or similar (I don't currently use Slack).

You should have a program called xscreensaver-demo.

XFCE is based on a different GUI manager. The XFCE FAQ explains this. Go through the preferences of XMMS. Look for show window manager decorations. Enable it. You should see XFCE window around XMMS. Its not pretty.

The new XFCE Beta (quite stable!) has the screensaver option right in the settings manager.

You can right-click on the taskbar in the beta version as well. I'd highly recommend trying it out, it has quite a few more features.
