Questions about Google Chrome/Chromium

I use Chrome on my Ubuntu (Jaunty) on my amd64 notebook and I was wondering a couple of things. I am using the daily build PPA for chromium.

a) Does this use the V8 javascript engine automatically.
b) I can't find a amd64 V8 package and it wouldn't be a huge deal to compile from source but how would I tell Chromium to use V8 if it doesnt already.
c) What URL would I use to search LQ from the omnibar? Would it just be like
Thanks in advance for all the help.
