There are reports it was fixed with next Crome upgrade.

That would be good. Chrome updates come out fairly frequently, so hopefully we won't have to wait too long. This is not a show-stopper "problem", it is just an "annoyance" that shouldn't be happening.

Could I ask how you found out it will allegedly be fixed in the next update? I've done some Google searching and I didn't turn up that information in any of my searches. I'm always looking for techniques to improve my search skills, so that's why I'm asking - to learn!

Thanks for all your help on this. I really appreciate it when folks help out, especially when they may not be experiencing the problem (annoyance!) themselves.

One of Gentoo users reported latest Chromium does not have this problem any more.
