I really enjoy KDE but there is one thing that I don't quite like. I'm using Linux on my laptop and being that the screen is so small, I'd like to create more room somehow. Currently the taskbar has a bunch of buttons on it similiar to Windoze's quick launch section of the sidebar. Because the number of buttons there are, when I have windows open, it gets bundled up really fast. I was wondering if there's a way to add another taskbar somewhere so that I can place my minimized windows there instead. Gnome has something similiar to what I'm talking about but I really don't like Gnome very much. Thanks for any help.

On the task bar on one of the dividers there is a small up arrow if you right click on it there is a menu option to add with a sub menu item of panel which will let you add an external task bar.
