Question about GNOME
Well I just did a fresh install of Suse 9.3 Pro, and decided to try out GNOME since it seems like a lot of people prefer it over KDE.
Now one quick question. Does GNOME support multiple user switching like KDE does? What I mean is I want to have two users logged in at a time and be able to switch between their desktops. I've been looking for something like this in GNOME, but haven't been able to find an option. Is there a seperate peice of software/package to instlal to enable something like this? I don't want to spend the time to configure GNOME if it can't support user switching, this is something i NEED. Thanks! |
As Far as I know it should be possibel to do with GNOME too. Let me research I will tell you the name of the program.

as long as GDM is running instead of KDM you can switch.and running GDM gives you the option to use nested logins.
