Hi Guys,

I would like to know what software is similar to Quickbooks? I checked GNUcash but that is for the Gnome desktop and I run KDE 3.5 on openSuSE 11.

I don't see why that would be a problem. Installing a few dependencies will only take a few MB's, something that everyone can spare on the HD's we have nowadays. For the rest, there's no problem running gtk applications under kde or under any other desktop or window manager.

You could use kmymoney as well.

Yep. As long as all the libraries are there, it will run. That's true for most software, except some applications that are tightly tied into the desktop infrastructure, such as panel plugins that have been designed to run on a given desktop, and such things.

GnuCash will work fine if you use GNOME, KDE or any other environment. If you are looking for a strictly KDE application, try kmymoney and look for others at KDE apps.
