Unhappy Quanta and wget - does anyone use this feature?

I can't make head or tails of Quanta 3.1, and particularly the system it uses for downloading files from a remote directory using 'wget'.

wget is installed correctly but I don't know how to get it to download the remote directory.

1. I select Project > New Project

2. In General Project Settings I add details and select 'use wget to download files from a site'.

3. In Insert Files in Project I add the FTP site source (in the format 'rollo@ftp.servername.com', accept the suggested wget command line and click Start ...And nothing happens.

The help documentation available for Quanta is really sparse, and the forum at Sourceforge.net is deserted. Does anyone actually use this app on a daily basis?

I would really appreciate a hand here if anyone knows this program.

Thanks in advance.

Does your ftp account have a password?

rollo:password@ftp.servername.com

Also a status panel should appear in the main window of Quanta showing the status, or maybe not, I'm using 3.3 Its hard to remember what it does exactly 3.1 does diffrently now.

Thumbs up Solved

Thanks Leon - your advice did the trick exactly.

It's a bit unfortunate there was no error message or relevant help documentation for this one. I guess that's the deal with free software sometimes.

Otherwise, first impressions of Quanta (coming from Dreamweaver) are fairly good.

Thanks once again.
