Quake Wars install on openSUSE

Hey guys, does anyone know how to install quake wars ET on openSUSE 11.1, I can't seem to get it to work. Is there a certain path I must specify?

Insert the game disc into your drive and mount it.
Download the executable and change it's permissions as root with:
chmod+x ETQW-Client obviously change file for the appropriate name.
Then run the installer with ./ETQW-Client follow the console instructions.

This method worked for me running Debian.
I use the ia32libs package to run this on a x86_64 machine.
You didn't mention what architecture you are using?.

I am using a 64-bit architecture, so i might have to download those ia32libs. Thank you!

for openSUSE we have to use something called SDL.

Type in the command sudo zypper in libSDL-1.2.so.0 in the terminal for 32-bit libs

Also I saved them in my bin folder with its own Directory I made called ETQW

Other than that it worked well!
