I've decided to write a telephone emulation application, called QtPhone.

I recall there being a similar windows based application.

I do not remember what it was called, and I'm having difficulty finding it on the net.

Does any remember it, or have used it. If so, what's it called, and how did it function. ( I.e were the voice features clear ).

I've recently started a new linux open source project, QtPhone:

I was hoping to get some tough criticism from the linux community, so I know which direction to go to with this project, obvious starter mistakes I'm making, etc.

Please beat it up. I would rather get the advice now, than when it's half completed and has gone done the wrong path.

Any info or advice would be appreciated.

Is this application I'm refering to ( dialer.exe ).

Also what other telephone ( modem ) applications exist for windows?

Does anyone know of any 'V.92 voice' c++ class libraries that may exist?
