QTParted resizing Windows partition question

Before I decide to commit to my changes to resizing my Windows partition, QTParted tells me not to use a busy drive like and to unmount it. I'm just wondering if I have to unmount the Windows partition if I'm using Knoppix and if I do have to, how would I go about doing that? Sorry for the simple question, but I couldn't find it through search.

You don't want to make partition changes on a mounted partition. Knoppix mounts everything it finds. You can do a blanket unmount with the command: umount -a, then you can proceed with qtparted.
