QTParted-0.4.3 - compiling - libreiserf

I am trying to install, QTParted 0.4.3. I am using Mandrake 9.2. and have installed Parted, and the required FSTools (xfsprogs, jfsutils, ntfsprogs, progsreiserfs) from the Mandrake CD's. However when I try to compile QTParted 0.4.3, I get the following during the ./configure process:

configure: error: *** reiserfsprogs library (libreiserfs) not found

However, I already installed reiserfsprogs from the Mandrake CD's.
