QT tutorial

I am trying to look into QT 2.0 or something. Where can i find a tutorial ? I found an article regarding how to write a simple program (Hello, World) but on my Linux Red Hat 7.2.

QT is only version 3.0 designer is version 2.0 more or less and try'd the steps in the said sample but when it comes to "CONNECTIONS" there is NOTHING on the list, even IF i already have a "Push Button" on the current form. Please help.....

Thank You, very, very much.....

I used the O'Reilly Book Programming with QT... but the newer versions cover QT 3.0. Just out of curiosity... is there any reason why you couldn't move up to QT3?
