qt designer problem

I installed Qt along with Designer 3.2.1, previously using 3.1.2. Now when I open qt designer I can't edit or view c++ files. Designer says: no c++ editor plugin installed. But in /usr/qt/3/plugins/designer there is a file libcppeditor.so
I didn't used to have this problem in my previous designer. Anybody knows what may be the problem?
