qt and kde?
 
Here's a question? Will QT 3.1 break KDE 3.0.x? I wanted to try out QT 3.1 in prepartion to install KDE 3.1 when it comes out. However, I still want to keep my exist KDE 3.0.3 b/c if KDE 3.1 installation goes badly, I'd still like to have a gui.

Any thoughts?

It shouldn't.Plus last time I checked there was no problem with two different versions of QT on your box.You might want to check out http://developer.kde.org/build/build2ver.html
I use KDE 3.1 rc2 at the moment an it looks nice so far.

as kde is one of the most important projects of trolltech's qt i'm quiet sure it won't break it...:-)
