qmailmrtg and vsftpd
 

I'm having problems with qmailmrtg7 v.4.0 from www.inter7.com and vsftpd.

Qmailmrtg is supposed to be showing traffic in graph form for qmail, cpu, eth0 etc and vsftpd. It works fine except for vsftpd, it seems unable to read the log. When I do tail -f /var/log/vsftpd/*.log I can see what is happening on the ftp server without a problem so vsftpd is definatly logging.

Vsftpd seems to want the path though to be in the format of /var/log/*.log and qmailmrtg doesnt like that, it wants /var/log/ftpd. I try to set vsftpd to /var/log/ftpd but it gives me a nice error about not being able to access that until I add the specific filename.log to the path, then qmailmrtg give me an error about expecting a directory and not a file name.

Is it possible to get these two to work together?
