hello!

i'm in big trouble with qmail! it seems so ok, pop3 is fine, smtp is fine, remote delivery is also fine but with local delivery it's a mess...

i've read the whole internet since yesterday but with no results! i'm not sure that qmail-send or qmail-lspawn or whoever should put those messages in Maildir is running as vpopmail user!

i think that's the problem but i don't know how to set qmail to run those files as vpopmail user!

I'm on a slack 10, kernel 2.6.8, vpopmail works mysql... i'm not sure what logs or informations to post!

if you have any ideea what's wrong please give me some hint...

You should probably search the forums here for messages posted by me. I've helped a number of people with qmail problems. Usually there are certain things you can try that will reveal problems. For example, try running /var/qmail/bin/qmail-showctl and post the output here so we can see how you've got everything configured. You probably also need to check your permissions on the directories under /var /var/qmail/ and everything below that.

What those permissions should be set for can be found in the various threads I've posted that are related to qmail.

You may also want to jump on Google and search for "search qmail archives" and try the database at ornl.gov. This should help.
