qmail problem

I have been trying to set up qmail on my lan....After some initial library files conflict, I managed to install qmail successfully. However, the problems continue...

When I try to add a domain from the vqadmin form, i get the following message on top of the web page:

vmysql: sql error[c]: MySQL server has gone away vmysql: sql error[b]: MySQL server has gone away vmysql: sql error[3]: MySQL server has gone away vmysql: sql error[c]: MySQL server has gone away vmysql: sql error[c]: MySQL server has gone away vmysql: sql error[b]: MySQL server has gone away vmysql: sql error[3]: MySQL server has gone away vmysql: sql error[2]: MySQL server has gone away

Does anyone have an idea what this is and where the problem is? I haven't set up a database server as yet, therefore, I dont know what might be causing this...

Please help me set up qmail.....

Thanx and Regards,

amit

Exclamation

same problem here with qmail 1.03-r16, courier-authlib 0.58, courier-imap 4.0.4, mysql 5.0.18. On a gentoo platform.

How did you solved this problem?
