qmail+open_relay

hi,

i have aproblem with my mail server....

i use qmail+vpopmail....

but i think the problem is qmail.....(MTA)

yesterday, i received an email from someone@mydomains.com....
according to forums, qmail has a bug: open relay.....

how can i solve this probelm???

As long as you have an rcphosts file in your qmail control directory you aren't running an open relay. Qmail will only deliver mail to the domains on that list (unless it originates on the local machine).

yes, it does existe an rcpthost file and it contains my domains.....
but i dont understand the notion "running open relay".....

i think, the person who established qmail+vpopmail on that machine have used wrong configuration....

can i fix it without reinstall qmail+vpopmail......

If you're not convinced, search google for "Open Relay test" and you should get plenty of other choices.
