Mar 14 14:43:17 oliver2 qmail: 1110829397.579959 status: local 1/10 remote 0/110
Mar 14 14:43:17 oliver2 qmail: 1110829397.580911 delivery 8: deferral: Unable_to_chdir_to_maildir._(#4.2.1)/

Either your Maildir doesn't exist, or it has the wrong ownerships/permissions. Since you're running vpopmail, it should be located under /home/vpopmail. You should start looking under there and be sure it's owned by the vpopmail user.

Try running /var/qmail/bin/qmail-showctl and post the output here for us to see how you've got qmail configured. You may have a domain incorrect in your control/locals file.

Did you install this according to qmailrocks or something??? It helps to know this so I have a basic idea of how you installed everything.

I think you should remove the "localhost" lines that are found in your locals and rcpthosts control files. Also the localhost.localdomain lines too. I don't remember where I read it, but I believe qmail is designed to be smart enough to know where the localhost is, so you shouldn't need to tell it... in fact, I believe it confuses qmail to some degree.

But don't take my word for it. Try removing them and see if that helps any. Adding them back is easy enough.

that'd be great. Thanks again

Mmmm... actually I'm not too familiar with using mysql to store spamassassin data. I've just got one global cf file for the whole shebang. Sorry, I doubt I can help you there.
