In my continuing quest to get my old Foxpro 2.0 LAN DOS apps to work (Dosemu and Doxbox are out -- file locking still n/g) I am now trying to run Qemu. I downloaded the documentation and studied it but maybe I am DENSE! I just can't get the syntax.

Someone out there to help me please before I lose my last strand of hair??? I am simply trying to open Qemu, with a simple 500 MB partition, utilizing both a CDRom drive and floppy. Ultimately, I would like the Qemu partition to boot by itself, but first I need to get it to recognize the floppy (I keep getting error messages like it can't read the floppy drive!!) so I can copy MSDOS from the floppy to the Qemu partition.

Can anyone give me a sample syntax to work off of? Thanks.

Qemu’s syntax can take a bit of fiddling to get used to. But if you persevere you’ll get it.

Alternatively, you could try KQemu

With a few button clicks you should be able to get up and running.
