QCad - trimming lines

I have a certain Autocad experience and am trying to use Qcad. But I am experiencing difficulties -
I am trying to cut lines illustrated here.
In Autocad, it is possible to define 2 lines as limiting - and to trim the lines between them. I can not see, how it is possible with the trim options in Qcad?If I set a limiter, everything beyond it is cut and I have to make the line again.

QCad - trimming lines

Although I use QCad on Slackware, I've never had to use the trim function so I can't help. But have you tried asking this question at the Ribbonsoft site (the place that supplies and supports QCad)? I recently posted a query there about whether the newest version of QCad supported Slackware 10.2 and I received a very helpful reply promptly. When you go to double-u dot ribbonsoft dot com (for some reason, this forum won't let me type the URL directly...), look on the left-hand side of the page for 'contact' and you'll be led to a form that you can fill in with your query.

Hope this helps!

Gerald.
