Unhappy Qcad on Fiesty (64 bit)

I have Qcad Professional that runs well in SuSE 10.2 (32 bit) but will not run in Fiesty (64 bit). Would really like to use only Ubuntu and not dual boot with SuSE 10.2. I have installed the Qcad available with the synoptic manager and it runs on Fiesty. It's the community version (32 bit) but the professional version will not execute. My machine is a HP Pavilion dv8000 with 1 gig ram and using an AMD Turion 64 2.2 GHZ processor. Any suggestion will be helpful. I have been to RibbonSoft forum and emailed them but have not received a response as of today.

This gives very little to go on... how are you installing qcad pro? how are you trying to execute it? Do you get any error messages or anything at all? Is the qcad program 32 or 64 bit? In your ubuntu install 32 or 64 bit?

Ribbonsoft is unlikely to answer. Try the qcad-user group in Yahoo instead. The group is pretty responsive and few questions remain unanswered.

Wink Qcad Operation

Thanks for your help. What I have done is install VirtualBox and set up a virtual windows machine. I can use AutoSketch and no longer need Qcad. I was not performing any "install" procedures since no instruction can with the program. I had Qcad operating in SuSE 10.2 without any install procedure so I had hoped that the same would work in Ubuntu. My Ubuntu install is 64 bit and qcad is 32 bit. I was really curious since the qcad install from the synaptic manager worked just fin in Ubuntu. That program i'm sure is 32 bit. It's the Community version of qcad. Thanks for you reply.
