Hi guys guys i poste somewhere else about this wine software but Today red on some blog that this guy was runnig wine and win flash player on
KUBUNTU 12.4 kde so maybe i misunderstand him, so had an ISO cd of Kubuntu and there you go wiped out linuxmint14kde and installed kubuntu, so far i like it for better
it has Q4WINE on the repositories so i loaded up ,also uploaded the firstrowsports app but this time this Q4WINE presents me with a window ,see pic;is this Q4wine to run if you have win also installed or where i go from here,
You have to install WIne and then set the paths in that window to point to the wine applications, not the application you want to run.
Thanks Tobisgd: the problem is for me to understand the steps you mentined if don't give more details i will not be able to do it!is there a written set by step easy one thought all the steps , Thanks
Open the Software Center, search for Wine and install it, if it isn't already.
Then you have to change the paths in that window to the appropriate values, for example /usr/bin/wine as the value for "wine bin:", /usr/bin/wineserver for "wine server:", /usr/bin/wine for "wine loader" and /usr/lib/wine for "wine libs".
Please note that these are the values I get on my Slackware systems, they may be slightly different on Ubuntu, but I doubt that.
Keep the default values on the other windows you get, after you have completed that initial setup a browser window with a manual should pop up.
