Now ... i'm using enlightenment 0.16 and the problem is that both monitors get 1 stretched desktop, i mean ... you have the shaders which let you switch between multiple desktops and would it be possible to assign each monitor a seperate desktop ? So I would have 2 desktops (1 for each monitor)

i would like this because then i would be able to give each monitor a different wallpaper and such ....

thanks :)

Yes you can have two separate desktops. First, you cannot have Twinview enabled. It is twinview that turns your 2 monitors into one big desktop (although i am running fc3 in twinview mode and I love it). You need to read the nvidia README file, which you can get at:

ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Li...629/README.txt

check out appendix R of the README file.

thanks, but i guess what i'm trying to get isn't possible

i wanted each monitor to have a seperate enllightement deskop , ( i mean, one enlightement session, but instead of 2 virtual desktops, two real ones) and still be able to drag them over ...

but thx anyway
