python bittorrent 3.4.2 - how do I open it?


I just got BitTorrent 3.4.2 for Linux that runs with Python. It came with linux (i have suse) and all i really know how to do is unpack the *.tar. So I did that and everything .... so .... now what?
I know I have python because the *.py files have the python logo but i really have no idea how anything works after i unpack tars.

Definately check out BitTornado (www.bittornado.com), much better than BitTorrent. Many downloads that wouldn't even start in BitTorrent start and get good speeds with BitTornado. It as support for Random ports and crap. Really nice, honestly. Find a download and start one with BitTorrent and then again with BitTornado and see the difference.

alright but after i unpack it what do i do? I don't know how to use a GUI client or whatever. does it require the terminal?

i followed all their instructions but after i told konqueror to use btdownloadgui.py to open the file, nothing happened. I know I have python because I can see their logo on the files, so um, am i supposed to see anything? Sorry i'm so clueless.
