Python 2.3.3 and Fedora Core 1
 

I compiled Python 2.3.3 on my FC1 system, and now everything is foobar. That's right, I didn't use the RPM's. I am just so used to compiling that I think I majorly broke some components anyway. Is there a way to remedy this issue, or an I stuck doing command line stuff in my console for the rest of time..? I would have thought that the FC team would have moved to Python 2.3 or something already..

Ideas anyone..? Python 2.3 is in /usr/local/bin now..
