pyslsk wxpython
installed wxpython, installed pyslsk. im getting this error when trying to run pyslsk.
[root@localhost Desktop]# pyslsk
Can not find wxPython modules. Either wxPython is not
installed, or it's not in Python's module search path (it could be built
for a different version of python interpreter for example). The current
search path is
['/usr/bin', '/usr/lib/python2.2', '/usr/lib/python2.2/plat-linux2', '/usr/lib/python2.2/lib-dynload', '/usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages']
[root@localhost Desktop]#
any ideas how to fix the path, thanks
AD

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/pyslsk", line 94, in ?
signal.signal(signal.SIGTERM, sigtermHandler)
SystemError: error return without exception set

I remember that there were wxpython and libwxpython rpm files when I installed it. Maybe you have one and not the other?

got it to work!!!!!
all you have to do is find where your wxPython modules are actually installed (in my case it was /usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/wxPython) and make a symbolic link to any of he current search paths that python is using.
in illtbagu's case he could put the link in /usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages/
hope i helped

Problem :(
Well everything seems to be on its place but the only file that i cant find is python24.zip
Can not find wxPython modules. Either wxPython is not
installed, or it's not in Python's module search path (it could be built
for a different version of python interpreter for example). The current
search path is
['/downloads/pyslsk-1.2.7b', '/usr/lib/python24.zip', '/usr/lib/python2.4', '/usr/lib/python2.4/plat-linux2', '/usr/lib/python2.4/lib-tk', '/usr/lib/python2.4/lib-dynload', '/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages']
if anyone can give me a hint for that file pls help. Thx!
