Question need PyQt installation help for Debian linux

hi, i am currently trying to install PyQt according to the instructions given on the website service-spi.web.cern.ch/service-spi/external/pyqt/3.11/rh73_gcc32/_SPI/install.txt

the website says to install Qt, then followed by qscitilla, sip and finally PyQt. i encountered a problem when trying to 'make' PyQt.

the error message is as follow:

make[1]: *** [sipqtcmodule.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/PyQt-x11-gpl-3.13/qt'

any advice is greatly appreciated.
