Iḿ trying to configure pykota and got a lot of troubles, i'm using opensuse 11.1 x86_64, and mysql.

when i try to print or to execute pkturnkey

pkturnkey --doconf

i sow some related post and ask to try
u'foo'.encode('utf-8')

But that only gives me
-bash: syntax error near unexpected token `'utf-8''

Any help will be usefull.
