pyfolfc crashes

I use Slackware-current & Aliens ktown KDE. I have been running PySolFC, from slackbuilds.org for the past several years. For the past couple of days, when I click on the PySolFC icon, I get an icon in the Task Manager for a couple of seconds, then it disappears, & the program is gone. Running from a terminal gives me this:
Code:
bill@slack:~
$ pysol.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/pysol.py", line 37, in <module>
from pysollib.main import main  # noqa: E402
File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/pysollib/main.py", line 32, in <module>
from pysollib.util import DataLoader
File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/pysollib/util.py", line 30, in <module>
from pysollib.mfxutil import Image
File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/pysollib/mfxutil.py", line 54, in <module>
if TOOLKIT == 'tk' and Image and Image.VERSION >= '1.1.7':
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'VERSION'
bill@slack:~
$
Python-2.7 is installed by Slackware-Current, python-3.7 is installed by ktown. The only PySolFC dependency is python-six, which is installed & of the current version. I have reinstalled PySolFC, &, since the error referred to "tk", the entire Slackware TCL group, but got the same results.
Edit: This afternoon, I downloaded the most recent version, 2.6.2, of PySolFC, & modified the SlackBuild & Info files to install it. This update made no difference in the operation or the error I received.
Anybody have any clue as to what I can do next?
Regards,
Bill

Possibly, run it from a script, & be careful which version of python you call, (mine uses 2.7 on AntiX).

This is solved. I posted to the PySolFC help board & found that my problem was a known issue & that an update is eminent. It seems that PySolFC is not compatible with python-pillow-6.0.0, which is a dependency of hplip. Patches are available at the above URL.
Regards,
Bill

Thank you, Bill! I just ran into this problem today after updating Slackware64-current. Nice that, thanks to your investigations, I was able to fix the issue so quickly!

Best,
Lumpy
