Unhappy PVM Trouble with ssh!

hello guys

im having trouble using PVM (Parallel Virtual Machine) with the ssh not sure if this problem is related to the network or the PVM software , so iv posted this in both forums

whenever i try to add another machine to the virtula machine, i get the error "PVM_ROOT is set to "" ..cant start pvmd"

i have checked and rechecked it a zillion times, i see no reason for the error..the PVM_ROOT variable is set al right...when i ssh to the other machine and do an `echo $PVM_ROOT`, i get the correct answer..

whats going on???

thanx in anticipation
