psyBNC crash

I'm having problems with my psyBNC daemon. I log in, and if I connect to the IRC network directly I can see the BNC join my channels. But after a while it leaves suddenly, with a Ping Timeout. If I connect to the BNC, after a few seconds it stops responding to my commands, and I have to kill it.

What could be wrong?!
