psensor script needed

Hi!

I have a problem regarding overheating. When I play some games the processor overheats and the system crashes. Psensor can show my coretemps and has an option to run a script when an alarm is raised. I'm in a dire need of a basic script that would kill the most cpu intensive task before the system crashes

Thanks in advance

You realize the most CPU intensive task will, in all likelihood, be that game you're playing? You're basically asking for a script that crashes the game that causes your processor to overheat when you play it...which is effectively what your machine is already doing via the psensor on your processor and the bios.
You're not going to able to slide past the laws of thermodynamics that way...

Sorry for the long response time.

Killing the game is just what I want. I can play on a smaller res to pospone the heating issue and save the game more frequently.

I just want a software way to keep my hardware safe.
