ps2 mouse hangs under x

i experienced a little problem recently under X. when i work normally under X everything works fine until li press the numlock key. if I do so, the mouse wont move from its last position.

i use fluxbox 0.18.some, no keygrabbers (xkeygrab was running for some time, but it caused more problems than it had used for me...). X is the version 4.2.0.

any idea???

Well... Are you sure you have the right keyboard selected in Xconfig?

Or maybe it's a physical problem? What's your distribution BTW?
