proxychains not working..

Hi guys!I got a proxychains problem:
my /etc/proxychains.config :
# add proxy here ...
# meanwile
# defaults set to "tor"
socks4 9050
socks5 1080
socks5 29505
socks5 27361
socks5 1080
socks5 5153
socks5 1080
socks5 73
socks5 1036
socks4 9050
was by default.
So, when i run proxychains with nmap it's like :
root@bt:~# proxychains nmap -A **.***.***.**
ProxyChains-3.1 (

Starting Nmap 5.35DC1 ( ) at 2010-08-08 22:43 EEST
Segmentation fault
Every proxy address gives timeout ,and the funny thing is even localhost ( gives timeout
also i've tried running firefox through proxychans and check my IP at and it's my own ip that shows up.

P.S. i use dynamic_chain option
thanks in advance!

What is your goal with this? Are you running a local proxy?
