proxychains its not working with chrome

I just installed proxychains on Lubuntu 14.04 and I'm trying to use it with chome. When I do sudo proxychains google-chrome I get the following:

Home directory not accessible: Permission denied
Created new window in existing browser session.

I know its a permission issue, but I dont know what I have to give permission to. Your help is appreciated, Thanks in advanced.

do you have to start proxychains with super user privileges? if so, it should have an option to start the application (browser) as a normal user.
