Proxy hunter, finder, scanner.

Hello everyone back with another puzzler. I'm looking for something similar to charon for windows i used to use it for my proxy needs but have gotten rid of my windows box. All I can find for linux is "YAPH, yet nother proxy hunter" and "mizio" neither of which compile on my system "Mandriva 2006" any help will be appreciated i can post compile errors if anyone thinks they can help with that, or does anyone know how I can run charon via wine? Thanks in advance. Msills.

Haven't seen any. Apart from the UI stuff the functionality wouldn't be hard to put together in a script using default GNU/Linux tools. * If you search Sourceforge for "proxy check" you'll find another three projects in varying states of decay that may or may not work. Anyway, YAPH doesn't need much, so if you want to try just post your errors.

make[2]: Entering directory `/home/*****/yaph-0.91/yaph'
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -O2 -c init.c
init.c: In function 'init_options':
init.c:204: error: label at end of compound statement
make[2]: *** [init.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/*****/yaph-0.91/yaph'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/*****/yaph-0.91'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

localhost yaph-0.91]# make install
Making install in yaph
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/*****/yaph-0.91/yaph'
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -O2 -c init.c
init.c: In function 'init_options':
