Not actually heard of either of these programs, so I can't help with them. However, in this months Linux Format (LXF28), the LinuxWebWatch sports 3 sites that look interesting (page 8, UK edition).
hey, does that issue have some useful stuff on the CD? or is it just helpful links? I couldn't get SLab to compile but i haven't really tried very hard, i may have to get that LFX.......
Some good stuff on the DVD (don't know about the CD):
FluxBox, Gentoo (file manager, not distro), KDE3, Beehive distro ISO, Opera, Mozilla 1.0, and loads of updates of regular stuff like Webmin. I can't really go into the whole lot, it is around 4Gb.
As for Slab, it's just got a little blurb:
'Slab (www.slabexchange.org) is yet another audio recording tool and consists of a virtual tape deck, a mixer, a wave editor and some audio processing tools. It's quite basic, but appears to be quite commited.'
