Question program that supports voice chatting with msn?


Does anyone know of a program that will connect to msn messenger and allow me to voice chat with my friends with messenger??

I don't think linux does much voice over IP, but try googling for VOIP linux msn etc.

I use gaim for text on msn. You need the latest version and need msn already set up with messenger... It works but doesn't do file transfer or voice to my knowledge... It's my understanding that Kopete also works in text but not voice.

Hey amosf, thanks for you reply. I am still searching! I am currently using Kopete which is great, but it doesn´t support voice

I will post here again when I find somthing

Have you tried Skype? They've recently released a linux version which works a treat.

Hey smiorgian thanks for that idea... I gave it a go but it was un usable with my modem connection, only heard small parts of the words.
