I downloaded a program and I told it to open instead of saving to disc. How do I go about uninstalling the program.I tried rpm -e program name and tells me its not installed which it is because i used it.
Originally posted by lmanwarren No secret its perl dvd::rip and instead of downloading the rpm i choose open from location.Comes up asking for root password then installs.
rpm -qa | grep perl
And you can then see if it lists the perl DVD::Rip rpm in the database.. however its listed, do the rpm -e <exact-rpm-name> and that should remove it.
